I went to Arrowmont School of arts and crafts for two weeks. It's located in Gatlinburg tennesse and there are no other words to describe it other then amazing. I took my first workshop in Precision Fabrication under Christopher Hentz and learned some very important lessons. A: Everything worth doing is doing it the easy way B: There are thirty rules to soldering and only five steps. The steps must always be obeyed, the rules can be broken within reason. Just focusing on getting my Mokume finished and my light box. Its been...very emotional lately. I just want to do my art. I don't care about anything else right now. Here's to "singin the same song all over again".

Its been a while since I posted everything. Maybe due to my fear that if I try to put any more information into my computer or try to use my computer for anything other then its base functions it will crash as it has proven it is capable of doing for weeks now. No, I don't have money to fix it or buy a new computer. It makes me sad. And anxious, really really anxious. I keep expecting pushing the on button only to find it not turning on. Its only a matter of time. -_- On a bright note, I learned how to enamel today! :) On a sader note I ruined one of the pendants I was working on. Hopefully a night in the pickle will perk it up some. I hope.
